Sharp reactions win matches in the field and at the crease, and the Omtex Reflex Ball is a good little training ball for building them. The drills you run with it target reflexes, change of direction and hand-eye co-ordination, the raw ingredients of good fielding and quick hands when batting. Throw it, catch it, deflect it — it is the sort of simple aid coaches keep in the kit bag for warm-ups and fielding circuits. Add one to your sessions and make reaction practice a habit rather than an afterthought.
