The toe is where a bat drinks water and takes yorkers, and the Kookaburra Toe Protector is made to defend it. Kookaburra’s toe guards are constructed from durable rubber and are designed to be applied directly to the bat toe, where they prevent moisture absorption from damp pitches and guard against the damage that splits and softens toes. Fitting one takes minutes and can add seasons to a bat — far cheaper than repairing a water-damaged toe later on.
