The Kookaburra 500 Thigh Guard gives batsmen Grade 3 impact protection in a molded HDF shell that follows the shape of the leg. A towel backing sits against the thigh to soak up sweat and keep the guard comfortable through a long innings. It is an ambidextrous adult design, so it works on either leg, and it comes in medium and large sizes. This is sensible, affordable protection for club and school players who want cover against the short ball without paying for heavy, top-end gear.
