Some bats you can buy any day of the season; the Kingsbury Knight Emperor is not one of them. These are made in limited numbers because the willow is very scarce, and Kingsbury say they are simply never found sitting on shelves anywhere. What you get for the hunt is the ultimate pick up and an extended sweet spot that rewards an all-round type of play, from wristy deflections to full-blooded drives. In short handle, in light (2lb 7oz–2lb 9oz) or medium (2lb 10oz–2lb 12oz) weights, this is a connoisseur’s bat.
