Fielding practice only transfers to matches when it looks like a match, and that is the Gray Nicolls Fielding Bat’s whole purpose. Designed to transform fielding sessions, it lets a coach strike the high catches you will actually receive in matches, so your positioning, judgement and hands all learn under realistic pressure. Regular work with it enhances catching and fielding skills in a way gentle throw-downs never can. Every serious coach, and every fielder who wants softer hands, should spend time under this bat.
