The GM Maxi wicket keeping pads weigh approximately 0.95 kg per pair, because a keeper who cannot move quickly cannot take the ball cleanly either. A PU facing covers a high density foam face filling for protection against the new ball, while the comfort/low density foam vertical bolster keeps the pads soft against the leg through a long day of takes. Two comfort straps and two 2-inch straps hold everything secure, and the comfort instep finishes a pad made for keepers who crouch all day.
