The Barmy Army Autograph Bat Set is a miniature version of a cricket bat made for souvenirs and signatures. What lifts it above a plain mini bat is everything else in the box, because the set also includes an autograph booklet and a pen, so you are ready to collect signatures the moment you meet a player. For England’s travelling supporters it is a natural memento of tours and famous days in the stands. Keep it on display once it is filled with names, and it becomes a story in its own right.
